UMortgage Honored on 2025 Inc 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Companies

PHILADELPHIA, PA., August 12, 2025 — For the second consecutive year, UMortgage—a national mortgage company with a vision to create life-changing opportunities through homeownership—was ranked on Inc Magazine’s Inc 5000 list, recognizing the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

UMortgage is ranked no. 579 overall, 13 in Pennsylvania, 13 in the Philadelphia region, and 37 nationally in financial services. It earns a second consecutive appearance on the list following UMortgage’s first year of eligibility last year, a testament to its sustained growth since its founding in 2020.

Inc. 5000 recognizes the most successful independent and entrepreneurial businesses in the U.S. economy over the last 4 years. The prestigious ranking provides a data-driven look at the most successful companies within the economy’s dynamic segment: its independent, entrepreneurial businesses.

UMortgage earned its rank after seeing its revenue grow by 716% from 2021 to 2024. In 2024, UMortgage broke its company record for annual funded units and volume for the fourth straight year after closing 7,080 loans for $2.47 billion in volume.

Notably, that record-breaking year was the result of a more productive team. In 2024, UMortgage saw the average number of loans closed per LO increase by 38% from 2023. That increased productivity reflects UMortgage’s continued investment in tools, systems, and training that drive scalable and sustainable growth.

Part of this investment, which has also contributed to the 3,975 loans closed for $1.47 billion between January and July 2025, is Tempo, UMortgage’s proprietary sales performance platform. Tempo is transforming how loan officers grow their business with more effective prospecting, stronger client and agent relationships, and accountability to do the necessary work every day.

Over the past month, Tempo has introduced several new features and enhancements designed to improve usability, increase personalization, and strengthen the platform’s real-time feedback loop. New Leaderboard Views & Faster Refresh Leaderboards now offer filtering by branch and time period (today, yesterday, this week, last week), and refresh instantly with each new activity tracked—creating a more dynamic and competitive experience. Instant Credit Pull Points Activity points are now awarded immediately after each credit pull, providing real-time feedback and reinforcing momentum. Just by typing the person's name, users will be met with a “Create New Contact” option. By clicking this option, the name the user originally typed will automatically fill in the First Name and Last Name fields. Recent Tempo Enhancements to Boost Loan Officer Productivity: Recurring Loan Anniversary Emails Loan anniversary emails are now sent annually, instead of just once after the first year, to maintain long-term borrower engagement. Responsive Homepage Experience The homepage has been optimized across screen sizes, improving usability on both desktop and mobile devices. Smarter Contact Input Text fields are now auto-selected when adding new contacts, reducing clicks and streamlining the process. Improved Open House/Event Loading Feedback When logging multiple attendees for an Open House or Event, new loading messages have been added to provide clear, real-time feedback during entry. Improved sync between ARIVE and Tempo ARIVE, UMortgage’s LOS/POS, and Tempo have enhanced their sync to avoid duplicate contacts with the same information.
